Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It
We collect personal data that you choose to provide to us, as well as certain technical data that is collected automatically when you use the Site. This includes data provided when you leave comments, upload media, submit contact forms, explore career opportunities, join our Talent Pool, or otherwise interact with the Site.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the Site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture (if any) may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the Site, you should avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the Site can download and extract location data from images on the Site.
Contact Forms
If you contact us via a form on the Site, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message so that we can respond to your inquiry. We retain this information for customer service and record-keeping purposes. We do not use this information for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.
Career Exploration and Talent Pool
When you explore career opportunities with us or submit your CV, resume, or similar professional profile to our Talent Pool (including via the Site, email, or other application forms), we may collect information such as your name, contact details, work history, education, skills, and any other information you choose to include in your application materials.
We use this information solely for recruitment-related purposes, including assessing your suitability for current or future roles, contacting you about relevant opportunities, and maintaining internal recruitment records. Providing your data for our Talent Pool is voluntary, and you may request that we update or remove your information at any time as described in the “Your Rights” section below.
We treat all CVs, resumes, and Talent Pool data as confidential. Access to this information is restricted to authorized members of our team and trusted service providers who support our recruitment or HR processes and are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations. We do not sell or rent your Talent Pool data, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
Log Data
Our servers may automatically log certain information when you access the Site. This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring and exit pages, timestamps, and other technical data. We use this information to maintain the security of the Site, diagnose technical issues, and understand how the Site is used so we can improve its performance and content.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, improve your browsing experience, and support core WordPress functionality.
Comment cookies: If you leave a comment on the Site, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.
Login cookies: If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies; this cookie is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we set cookies to save your login information and your screen display preferences. Login cookies generally last for two days, and screen options cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. When you log out, the login cookies are removed.
Editor cookie: If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie includes the post ID of the article you just edited. It contains no personal data and expires after one day.
You can learn more about cookies and how to manage them at information sites such as https://www.allaboutcookies.org. You can also control cookies via your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the Site and to improve our content and services. Google Analytics may set its own cookies and collect information such as your device type, browser type, IP address, approximate location, and the pages you visit on the Site.
Google processes this information on our behalf to provide aggregated reports about Site usage. For more information about how Google uses data, please see https://policies.google.com/privacy. If you prefer, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles or pages on this Site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, or articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you had visited those other websites directly.
These third-party websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell or rent your personal data, including any data you submit when exploring careers or joining our Talent Pool. We share information only with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the Site and our business (for example, hosting providers, analytics services, and spam detection services), and only to the extent necessary for them to provide their services to us.
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email as a security measure. For recruitment and Talent Pool purposes, we may share your information with carefully selected third-party tools or service providers (such as applicant tracking systems or email providers) solely to manage applications and communicate with candidates. These parties are contractually required to protect your information and to use it only in accordance with our instructions.
How Long We Retain Your Data
Comments: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and automatically approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Registered users: For users who register on the Site (if any), we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Contact form submissions: We typically retain contact form submissions for up to 12 months, unless we need to keep them longer for legal, administrative, or business reasons (for example, to handle ongoing matters or disputes).
Log and analytics data: We retain log files and analytics data for as long as necessary to analyze Site performance, maintain security, and meet our legal obligations. This is typically up to 12–26 months, depending on our system configuration and the settings of our analytics tools.
Career and Talent Pool data: Information you provide when applying for roles or joining our Talent Pool is retained only for as long as it is relevant for recruitment purposes and permitted by applicable law. We may keep your CV, resume, and related information for a defined period to consider you for future opportunities. You can request that we update or delete your Talent Pool data at any time by contacting us using the details in the “Contact Us” section.
Your Rights
If you have an account on the Site, have left comments, contacted us via forms, or provided information for career opportunities or our Talent Pool, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
You may also request that we correct or erase any personal data we hold about you, including recruitment and Talent Pool data, subject to any data we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. We will respond to such requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
To exercise your rights or make a request, please contact us at contact@lestariadvisors.com.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Data processed by Google Analytics and certain other service providers may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country, including in the United States or other jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your home country.
Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate steps to ensure that such transfers include suitable safeguards to protect your personal data.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These measures apply to all personal data we process, including data submitted when you explore careers or join our Talent Pool.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials (if any) confidential and for notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized use of your account or data.
Children’s Privacy
Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information as soon as reasonably practicable.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top.
Your continued use of the Site after the revised Privacy Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. Where required by law, we will notify you of material changes and, if necessary, seek your consent.
